The experience
Starting in Sydney, you’ll play two of the best courses in New South Wales, discovery the wineries of the world-famous Hunter Valley before flying to Melbourne to experience the best of Australia’s cultural capital, and traverse the golfing nirvana of The Sandbelt. A private charter then takes you to the island state of Tasmania, for more epic scenery, the best seafood in Australasia and Championship golf at two of Barnbougle’s award-winning courses.

    Day 1

    Arrive at Sydney, enjoying VIP airport assistance and then checking into the five-star Park Hyatt Sydney, located right on the harbour with views of the Opera House.

    Day 2

    See Bondi Beach, the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, as well as discovering hidden gems known only by locals of the city and its surrounds.

    On the edge of the Pacific coast, you’ll find Alister MacKenzie’s work at New South Wales Golf Club, one of the most famous ocean-front, cliff-top 18s in the world.

    Day 4

    Take a private guided tour of the Hunter Valley, enjoying a wine-paired lunch and at a winery with spectacular views of the vines and Brokenback Range.

    Day 5

    Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman and Geoff Ogilvy have all secured Australian Open titles hosted at The Lakes Golf Club, the second round of your tour Down Under.

    Play the truly iconic Royal Melbourne Club, with the West course arguably the most stunning of the incredible list of courses designed by Alister MacKenzie.

    Day 7

    The bunkering of MacKenzie combined with the design of Dan Soutar and a history dating back almost a century makes Kingston Heath a must-play for your fourth round.

    Day 8

    Explore the Yarra Valley region and take in one of Australia’s best wildlife sanctuaries, not to mention visits to a winery, a local food hot spot, and a Victoria gin distillery.

    A Sandbelt masterpiece, Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club has two courses, both of which will leave you wanting more despite the calibre of this region.

    The beachside suburb of Cheltenham is a fine setting for Victoria Golf Club, a near neighbour of Royal Melbourne and also among Australia’s finest courses.

    Day 11

    Put the clubs away for a day to enjoy a full day, guided tour of the natural beauty of the Mornington Peninsula, complete with the very best of local gastronomy.

    Day 12

    One last round on the Sandbelt, at another Australian Open host, The Metropolitan Golf Club, before taking a private charter plane to Tasmania, to check in at Lost Farm Lodge.

    Links and parkland holes come together for a stunning round at Barnbougle’s The Lost Farm course, uniquely featuring 20 holes along the coast and through the dunes.

    Day 14

    Simply one of the world’s best. Ranked number two in Australia and 11 in the world, The Dunes is a links quite unlike any other, with Tasmania’s north east coast as a backdrop.

    Day 15

    Take another charter flight to the 40-mile long King Island just off Victoria’s southern tip for a final round at Cape Wickham Golf Links, a modern classic if ever there was one.
