The experience
The Lofoten islands in Arctic Norway is an archipelago that’s been home to Vikings, and is now home to one of the best links courses in the world. We’ll take you on expeditions into the mountains, kayak the Arctic, go deep sea fishing and visit ancient fishing villages. You’ll discover the best seafood in the world, and also stay in luxury, authentic fisherman’s cottages.

Lofoten itinerary

  • Elegant dining room with round tables and white tablecloths, set with glassware and silverware. Large windows with gray curtains, ornate ceiling with detailed plasterwork, and a chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

    Day 1

    Arrive in Oslo and check in to five-star Hotel Continental before enjoying Michelin-starred Nordic cuisine at Statholdergaarden.

    Day 2

    Take a helicopter tour above the fjords and mountains of Arctic Norway before a round of midnight golf at Lofoten Links.

    Day 3

    Explore Fjordland, fishing villages and coral beaches of Lofoten by boat, before returning for a second round at Lofoten Links.

    Day 4

    A third round of golf, before heading to the floating sauna of Lyst, accompanied with an option for the freshest of wild swims.

    Day 5

    Kayak, hike and rappel your way through the best of Lofoten – epic seascapes, idyllic islands, sandy beaches and into the mountains.

    Day 6

    Set sail amid the fjords with the mountains as a stunning backdrop for some line fishing before returning for a bracing hike.

    Take a step back in time for sightseeing on Moskenes Island where you’ll find an historic fishing village beneath the snow-capped peaks.

    Day 8

    Nordic cuisine is world-famous for good reason and you’ll forage for ingredients and then discover the secrets of how they’re put together.

    Take a final breakfast in breathtaking Lofoten before returning to Oslo, with an optional for an extended stay in the majestic capital.
