The experience
Traversing the urban centres of northern Europe, discover golf of every flavour with a packed itinerary including 12 rounds across two weeks. With a five-star stay in every location, hop from Helsinki to Tallinn, Stockholm to Copenhagen and finally to the Lofoten archipelago while playing golfing wonders designed by the best.

Viking Trail, Scandinavia itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Helsinki and check into your five-star stay at The Hotel Maria, one of the city’s most prestigious addresses.
Day 2

Head to Linna Golf Club, a national treasure and the number one ranked golf course in Finland, carved through the pine and birch forest.
Day 3

Play the South East Course at Kytäjä, set amid delightful Finnish landscape, where the front nine plays across undulating ground and the back nine hugs the Lake Kytäjä shoreline.
Day 4

After an evening transfer, breakfast at the Schlössle, overlooking Tallinn’s Old Town, before 18 holes at the coastal Pärnu Bay, the number one course in Estonia.
Day 5

Check out for your afternoon tee time on the Sea Course at Estonian Golf and Country Club, built on an archaeological site where ancient arrow heads, coins and pottery were found.
Day 6

The Stadium Course at Bro Hof Slott Golf Club, Sweden, was designed for the professionals, featuring rolling fairways, vast bunkers, and panoramic views of Lake Mälaren.
Day 7

Set among softly shaped hills and abundant streams, Ullna Golf and Country Club rewards every golfer with enticing challenges and beautiful parkland surrounds.
Day 8

After a night at Copenhagen’s Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, head north for a tranquil 18 holes on the Old Course at the Scandinavian.
Day 9

Neighbouring the red-roofed harbour town of Kerteminde is Jack Nicklaus’ Great Northern, with its seven artificial lakes offering a true Championship test.
Day 10

Land in Oslo and head to Miklagard, one of the top courses in Norway with greens among the best and fastest in Europe, before dinner at the Michelin-starred Statholdergaarden.
Day 11

Fly to Lofoten and settle at the Thon Hotel on Austvågøya, where spectacular mountains frame a wild coastline and restaurants, cafés and museums are within easy reach.
Day 12

Experience midnight golf at Lofoten Links, on land famed for the Viking adventures of former chieftain, Tore Hjort, framed by the crystal-clear icy waters of the Norwegian Sea.
Day 13

Get up close and personal with sea eagles and explore the beautiful scenery of Lofoten Islands through a Sea Eagle Safari RIB Journey at the spectacular Trollfjorden Fjord.
Day 14

Head for a final round at Lofoten Links before departing back to Oslo.
