Yet Vienna is as much about the rhythm of everyday life as its celebrated landmarks. Historic coffee houses, traditional wine taverns, galleries and restaurants invite you to experience the city at a more leisurely pace, while its long association with music and the arts gives Vienna a character entirely its own.

The extension features two rounds of golf, beginning at Fontana Golf Club before heading into the Austrian countryside to play Adamstal Golf Club.

Set against the Vienna Woods, Fontana combines immaculate conditioning with strategic water features and a championship layout that provides a rewarding test throughout.

Adamstal offers a striking contrast. Designed by Jeremy Pern and set among the forested hills of Lower Austria, the course follows the natural contours of the landscape, with dramatic elevation changes and spectacular views accompanying the round.

Away from the course, two privately guided days offer time to explore Vienna’s history, architecture and cultural heritage. From the Hofburg Palace and St. Stephen’s Cathedral to the grand Ringstrasse, each day reveals another layer of the Austrian capital.

The journey to Vienna is part of the experience too, with a private guided visit to Český Krumlov in South Bohemia en route from Prague.

Two three-course dinners are also included during your stay, with evenings at leisure providing further opportunity to enjoy Vienna at your own pace.

Your Itinerary

  • Saturday 21st August

    Depart Prague and travel to Vienna, stopping in Český Krumlov for a private guided sightseeing tour.

  • Sunday 22nd August

    The golf begins at Fontana Golf Club, while those not playing may enjoy an optional tour. Return to the hotel for an evening at leisure.

  • Monday 23rd August

    Spend the day discovering Vienna with a private English-speaking guide, followed by a three-course dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Tuesday 24th August

    Travel into the Austrian countryside for your second round at Adamstal Golf Club or enjoy an optional tour for non-golfers.

  • Wednesday 25th August

    Enjoy a privately guided day exploring Vienna, followed by another three-course dinner in the city.

  • Thursday 26th August

    Following breakfast, check out and transfer to Vienna Airport for your onward journey home.
